Writting a letter to my favourite character (Katya)
Dear Katya,
Hello, my name is Sin Zhao Hong. I am twelve this year. From the story 'Clever Katya', you are my favourite character. I picked you as my favourite character because you are humble, hardworking and smart. Although you are smart, you should not do things that will harm other people like locked Czar in a chest. I hope you will take my advise seriously. Continue to be humble and hardworking. Thats it for now. Goodbye.

Book review (Literature Part 1)
Title: Clever Katya
Author: Julia Donaldson
Illustrator: Jane Kochnewitz
Publisher: Reed Educational and Professional Publishing LTD.
Main characters: Katya and The Czar
Summary of the story.
There was once a farmer who had a beautiful and clever daughter named Katya. One day, the farmer met the Czar of Russia who asked for some bread. The Czar loves the bread and ask who made it. Then the farmer told the Czar about his wonderful daughter. The Czar always tought he was the cleverest person in Russia. The Czar gave Katya three difficult test to prove that Katya is clever. Katya solved all the test cleverly. The Czar fall in love with her and married her. Katya made the Czar promise her that she is allowed to take one thing that she love the most with her if he gets unhappy with her. He agreed. One day, the Czar was angry. He ask Katya to leave the palace and return to her father's house. When the Czar was sleeping, Katya put him in a chest. She took the chest to her father's house. Her father was shocked when he saw the Czar inside the chest. When the Czar woke up, he was angry but Katya reminded him of his promise. She said she loved him the most in the palace. That made the Czar happy because he knew that Katya loved him very much but not his riches.
The part I like the most is when Katya locked The Czar in the chest. It is very intresting because she did not break the promise. She promise the Czar she will take one thing she loved the most in the palace.
I have learned to be humble because being boastful is a very bad attitude. We have to learn to respect our elders and also those who are impolitle so we do not start a fight against two or more people. From the rating of one to ten, I would rate this book 8 and a half.
